Commenty goodness

So I just discovered thanks to a friend that my comments feature wasn't working. I have fixed it and believe it to now be functioning properly, so if you ever wanted to leave a comment on any of my posts, please feel free to do so.

Thank goodness, I was starting to wonder why no one ever left me a comment..I felt so unloved *sniff* :D

I found the most stunning stamp at my local scrapbook store on Saturday when I was looking for other supplies. I decided to give this a try with the Glitter Ritz warm highlight technique I learned in class the night before. I love the result:

Paper: Karen Foster Spooky designer paper, black card stock
Stamp: Inkadinkado Crow
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black
Technique: Glitter Ritz Warm Highlight
Other Supplies: Halloween ribbons - Michaels stock, Martha Stewart drippy goo punch

All that glitters...

I attended a class at my local scrapbook store this weekend called "Putting on the Ritz". The class was all about using glitter ritz, which comes in a variety of stunning colors. Here are the cards we made in the class.

Please note: These were designed by our instructor Kim Prince.

I wanted to play around with a few ideas, and this is the result. I think it works best as a valentine's card, so I'll probably put it away until then.
Paper: Black, white and red cardstock
Stamps: SU Always
Ink: SU Real Red
Other Supplies: Michaels stock ribbon in red.

Because you can never have too much glitter!

I had some K&Company trim strips that I wanted to use, so I added some Martha Stewart Florentine Gold glitter strips, a scalloped square with a stamped sentiment and voila!

Paper: SU Pale Plum, K&Company butterfly strips
Stamps: Studio G Happy Birthday
Inks: SU Lavendar Lace
Other Supplies: Martha Stewart Glitter in Florentine Gold, Marvy Uchida scalloped square punch
